It’s no secret that I love discovering new and interesting Skincare Dupes, as even though I don’t usually think that they hold a Candle to the product that they’re trying to emulate, I still love trying them out. That’s why when I saw that Home Bargains had released an Aura Skincare range that’s supposedly been inspired by Byoma whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to check it out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Aura Clarifying Face Serum, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
After cleansing, apply two to three drops and smooth into the Skin and Neck to reveal a touchable soft and dewy glow.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Polysorbat 20, Xanthan Gum, Amora Flower Extract, Ivy Leaf Extract, Wheatgerm Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, , Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance, Citronellol, Benzyl Salicylate, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and soapy yet ever so slightly grassy Ivy scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past an Ivy Bush on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging ,as even though this came in a tall rectangular Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, it’s Lid had absolutely no screw mechanism to it so I just had to ram it on and hope for the best every time that I used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Aura Clarifying Face Serum an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and soapy yet ever so slightly grassy Ivy scent, its consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that I was actually able to screw it’s Pipette Lid back on instead of me just ramming it on and hoping for the best every time that I used it.
