When I was a child, one of my favourite things to do definitely had to be getting up early on Saturday Morning to watch all of the amazing TV, including Animaniacs, Chucklevision, Hey Arnold!, Mona The Vampire, Rugrats, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released an x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles range to promote Plastic Free July, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Four Brothers Bath Bomb, a Peace, Love and Pizza Bath Bomb, a Green Machine Bubble Bar, and a Koongala! Shampoo Bar, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about all four delicious smelling products.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fresh Oregano Infusion, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Lemongrass Oil, Bergamot Oil, Water, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Chloride, Talc, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfaide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Hydroxide, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Tin Oxide, Citral, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 47005:1, Colour 45350, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 14700, Colour 15850:1, Colour 17200, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemongrass scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Jar of Lemon Curd.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Green all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Green to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering bright Green colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released an adorable Skateboard shaped Block of Soap that was perfect to wash my Body with.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemongrass for hours after I had used it.

What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Green all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Purple all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Green to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering dark Green colour. Then after a couple more seconds, it’s Mango Butter Topping started to ever so slightly melt and released little pieces of Fair Trade Organic Mango Butter, Coconut Oil and Cupuaçu Butter all over the surface of the Water that eventually melted and left behind some incredibly silky soft feeling Water. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing and all of it’s Mango Butter Topping had melted, that it left behind an adorable Pepperoni shaped Block of Soap that was perfect to wash my Body with.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and tropical yet ever so slightly herbal Pineapple for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Bergamot Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Rose Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 47005:1, Colour 42090:2, Colour 17200, Colour 42090, Colour 45410:2, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly spicy Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of the smell of some Violets dying off after Summer.
What it did when I used it.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of what this did when I used it, as once I had crumbled a little bit of it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it unfortunately created mounds of incredibly silky soft shimmering dark Brown Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Mud at Midday.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly spicy Violet for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Coco Sulfate, Fragrance, Fresh Watercress Infusion, Sandalwood Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Rosewood Oil, Tagetes Oil, Vetivert Oil, Citric Acid, Water, Polyquaternium-88, Polyquaternium-81, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Coumarin, Farnesol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 17200, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and woody yet ever so slightly creamy Sandlewood scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a high end Barbers on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had submerged it in a little bit of Water and had started to massage it into my Hair, it created an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous lather that spread really easily through my Hair.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, calm, thicker, fuller, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely volumised, really shiny, much healthier and smelling of delicious fresh and woody yet ever so slightly creamy Sandalwood for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Four Brothers Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Peace, Love and Pizza Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Green Machine Bubble Bar an eight out of ten, and the Lush Goongala! Shampoo Bar an eight out of ten. I really liked the Lush Four Brothers Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemongrass scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just think that £14 is a little bit too much to spend on one Bath Bomb, even if you do get a Block of Soap inside of it. I really liked the Lush Peace, Love and Pizza Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and tropical yet ever so slightly herbal Pineapple scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it’s little Pepperoni Soap was available to buy separately. I really liked the Lush Green Machine Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly spicy Violet scent, and it’s results, but I just wish that it hadn’t created mounds of Brown Bubbles, as Brown isn’t a colour that I particularly want to bathe in. I really liked the Lush Goongala! Shampoo Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and woody yet ever so slightly creamy Sandalwood scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Sandalwood.
